1. Laptop keyboard keys are pressed automatically
Ans: no seriously if you have a spare usb keyboard try attaching it .. as for your F1 key binding thing you sol boot into bios if possible probably something like f10 or f7 and just hold it down there should be a basic option for usb keyboard or disabling the onboard keyboard. if not you really made things difficult.2. Laptop key press automatically at random interval.
Ans: i'm not a pro at this but i would try to contact the keyboard company to get a remplacement one or to blow some air between the keys ... laptops keyboard are all the same ... once they die, you can't really do something for them.3. Some of my keys are automatically being pressed along with other keys.
Ans 1: It seems like a hardware issue to me. I've had this several times in the past, and just replaced the keyboard. It could just be a piece of debris on one of the tracks. Do you have a spare around to check?Ans2:Looks like a broken keyboard. You need to connect another keyboard to your computer and check if it works OR connect this keyboard to another computer or laptop and check if it shows the same problem.
Ans3:One thing I forgot to mention that a few months ago my drink was poured into the keyboard, after a 2-3 days my keyboard became home of a group of ants.
For getting rid from that I opened up my keyboard and cleaned it well, and finally sprayed an (liquid) ant repellent inside and outside of keyboard. I cleaned the excessive repellent as well, and screwed it up.
But I forgot that that transparent circuit board has three layers. And I just cleaned the outer layers leaving two layers wet which was doing short circuit.
In my case cleaning that liquid was the answer which was doing a short circuit I think. Now my keyboard it working fine like before. But one thing I'm still not getting is why it didn't just happened when I sprayed the repellent.
4.* character is automatically getting printed in my laptop. How to resolve it?
Ans1: Several months ago, my laptop keyboard started to behave oddly, similar to how you described. I could type normally but often pressing one key would result in several other keys being detected as pressed, or the wrong key being pressed. It made typing a chore and relatively impossible, often (though external USB keyboards worked fine). The laptop was under warranty so I sent it back and they replaced the keyboard. That fixed the issue. I figure that might be the case for you. If it is under warranty, I would recommend getting the keyboard replaced.
5.When keys are pressed automatically in your laptop's keyboard without user intervention, what does it mean?
Ans2: I would tell you to test it under boot to see what happends on BIOS initialization time, precisely to test if it wasn't a keyboard short circuit problem, but you already tested it.
Maybe your next step to test it is removing your keyboard flat cable from it slot and boot again(to see if the problem will happend even without keyboard), or you could also get another keyboard(if you have another one such a external USB based would be fine) and plug it. This will confirm the short circuit on your old one.
In my opinion, you are having a keyboard problem and should thinking about changing it.
6. Laptop Keyboard auto-pressed!
Ans: are you sure the keyboard isnt physically damaged and has keys pressed through some kind of liquid spill or hard knock, (hell maybe just wear and tear). Have you tried removing the keyboard from ur laptop, and plugging in an external keyboard?7. laptop down key is automatically pressed sometimes
To disable a key on your laptop computer, one of the simplest ways is to remap another key to its location. In other words, if you want to disable the "Windows" key, you could remap it so that it performs the same action as the "Shift" key. This would not affect the other two "Shift" keys on your keyboard, but it would make it so that the "Windows" key no longer worked as originally programmed. To easily remap a key on a laptop with a Windows-based operating system, use the Remapkey program included with the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools. These tools work just as well as on other Windows operating systems (such as XP and Vista) as they do on Server 2003.
8. "P" key regularly get pressed when my hp laptop dv6 pavilion boots with windows7
9.My laptop continue keeps w key pressed
10. My Computer keeps typing `````````` by itself?
11. "Control" key is being "pressed" automatically...and not by me
12. Keyboard suddenly starts typing slash (/) automatically.
13.My HP Laptop automatically Start Pressing Key "2" at random interval
Ans: This is not a virus but a Hadware problem especially found on Sony laptops. The problem resides with the pad and mouse.
The only solution remains in taking it in for repair.
